I am Dr. Zundra Aubrey, proud principal of this extraordinary learning community- where students are encouraged to Rise, Fly, and Shine. At Sunshine High School, we are strongly committed to fostering an environment where all students can experience academic excellence, personal growth, and engage with the community.

Our motto, “We Rise, We Fly, We Shine,” is more than just words — it reflects the heart of who we are. Each day, we empower our students to rise above challenges, soar high toward their goals, and shine both in the classroom and beyond. Our mission is to help every student get back on track to graduate and transition back to their home-zoned school or remain at Sunshine High as a proud member of our graduation class. We understand this takes commitment, hard work, grit, and demonstrating a positive mindset. We challenge all students to embrace these values and skills and persevere to success.

Whether you’re a returning family or new to the Phoenix community, I extend a warm welcome to Sunshine High School.
